Utkarsh women's box cricket tournament

Hello Lions Members, *Lions Club of Gandhidham New Horizon successfully organized Utkarsh Women’s Box Cricket Tournament – Season 3* on 11th January 2026 at JSR Ground, Gurukul. *The main motto of the event was to strengthen friendship bonding among women*. To encourage participation across all age groups, special age criteria were designed: Below 15 years – 2 players 15 to 40 years – 4 players Above 40 years – 2 players Thus, each team consisted of 8 players, and 8 teams participated in the tournament. Participating Teams: Game Mari Che, Myositis Lioness, Horizon Queens, Nirjaa, Silver Line, Daksh Stars, Parker Panthers, Thakkar Titans, The tournament was graced by the esteemed presence of: District Governor MJF Ln. Abhay Shah First Lady Ln. Reena Shah RC MJF Ln. Kamalben Joshi PDG Ln. Dhiren Mehta GET Coordinator Ln. Harsha Mehta, GLT Coordinator Ln. Deepesh Ganatra ZC Ln. Gurpreet Kaur The inauguration ceremony was opened by our special guests: Ms. Tulshi Sujan (President, Kutch Football Association) Dr. Ritu Kashyap (Nutritionist & Health Coach) The entire event was planned under the leadership of Club President Ln. Neha Gor Thakar, with Project Chairpersons Ln. Subhrota Biswas and Ln. Nisha Kerai. The tournament followed a knockout format. All players enjoyed the matches immensely, creating strong bonds of friendship and teamwork. *Every member of Lions Club of Gandhidham New Horizon actively participated and conveyed a powerful message to the community that together, women can achieve anything*. 🎤 The Master of Ceremony (MOC) for the event was gracefully conducted by Lion Jyoti Uttwani, adding charm and smooth coordination to the entire program.
