Youth - Anti Drug Awareness

The Lions Club of Gandhidham successfully conducted the *Mental Health & Well-Being Workshop* for Parents and School Teachers along with an *Anti-Drug Awareness Poster Competition* for School Children on Sunday, 16th August 2026, at Learners Academy, Sadhu Vaswani Nagar. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to *Trustee Mr. K.L. Bhawnani, the Principal, all teachers and the entire support staff of Learners Academy* for graciously providing the venue, extending warm hospitality and ensuring seamless, hassle-free arrangements throughout the program. Special thanks to *SOG - Gopalbhai and his team* for enlightening the parents and teachers about anti-drug awareness, the harmful effects of substance abuse and the importance of creating a drug-free society. We sincerely thank *Dr. Dhaivat Mehta* for his valuable session on Mental Health & Well-Being, and for creating awareness about the impact of drug abuse on mental health and overall well-being. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to *all the school children and teachers* who participated enthusiastically in the drawing/poster competition on the theme *“Nasha Mukt Bharat”* and expressed their creativity and commitment towards building a drug-free India. A special note of appreciation to our *Project Chairperson and District Chairpersons, Lion Rajesh Gomber (Mental Health & Well-Being) and Lion Vishal Duneja (Anti-Drug Awareness),* for their exemplary initiative, dedicated efforts and meticulous planning in organising these meaningful service projects. We also express our sincere gratitude to *All fellow Lions and Leo members* who actively volunteered their constant support, active participation and cooperation right from the inception of the project until its successful completion. Together, through awareness, education and compassionate service, we continue our journey towards creating a healthier, happier and drug-free society.
