👁️ Vision Awareness Program under Lions International Vision Service Week – 2026 👁️

Today, Saturday, October 17, 2026, the Lions Club of Jamnagar East organized a 'Vision Awareness' and eye donation guidance program for 5th-grade students at Pump House Primary School, Jamnagar, as part of the Lions International Vision Service Week – 2026. During the program, students were educated on the importance of eye care and regular eye check-ups. They were also informed about the significance of eye donation and the noble act of bringing light into another person's life through this contribution. Present on this occasion were the school principal, Lion Nileshbhai Vaghela; the Secretary of the Lions Club of Jamnagar East, Lion Prakash Thakrar; as well as the school's teaching staff and students. The primary objective of this program was to raise awareness among children regarding eye safety and to foster a positive attitude toward humanitarian initiatives like eye donation.
