Uddan-fund raising event

*Lions Club Gandhidham New Horizon successfully organized the fund-raising event “UDDAN Exhibition – Season 5” on 20-21 Dec* which received an overwhelming response from the community. The exhibition was inaugurated by *Ms. Aarti Ramchandani (Entrepreneur – BM Group), Ms. Nisha Singh (1st Lady DPA), and Ms. Urmibaa Rana (Artist), along with many beautiful women members of club. Lions Club Gandhidham President Lion Surojit Chakroborty and Lion Vinod Panjwani were also present on this occasion. In this exhibition, *we arranged around 70 stalls for various business holders and 15 stalls for students, mainly focused on fun games and activities. The event provided a wonderful platform for many women entrepreneurs who showcased and sold handmade items such as earrings and other products. Government school students also actively participated by organizing game stalls and earned a good amount through their efforts.* The exhibition was conducted over two days and included multiple engaging activities: Cooking Competition for women & Non-fire Cooking Competition for children A total of around 37 participants took part in these competitions. Every participant was given a complimentary certificate, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes were announced. We were honored to have Gayatri Caterers’ owner and chef, Shri Laxmanbhai, along with Piyusha Thakkar, Rasoi Rani Winner, as judges for the cooking competitions. A lively Musical Housie was also organized, where around 300 people participated, danced, and enjoyed the event with karaoke singers and Chintan Sharma, Gandhidham’s well-known singer.
