Hepatitis Awareness Campaign

Under the National Viral Hepatitis Control Program announced by the Government of India, from 21/7/2026 to 28/7/2026, as part of the celebration of “World Hepatitis Day”, an awareness campaign on Hepatitis will be organized by the Lions Club of Jamnagar East and Jamnagar Municipal Corporation at various places in Jamnagar city as a joint initiative. In which on Sunday, 26/07/2026, about 200 Home guard Jawans and officers of Jamnagar District Home Guards Organization were given detailed information about how Hepatitis infection spreads and how to prevent it from spreading by Dr. Palakben Ganatra of the Health Department and Professor Dr. Amiben Trivedi of M.P. Shah Government Medical College. Commandant of Jamnagar District Home Guards Shri Girish Sarvaiya Saheb was present in this awareness campaign. Project Chairman: Lion Amarjitsingh Ahluwalia
