The Lions Club of Gandhidham celebrated Independence Day on 15th August 2026 at the Lions Community Centre, Gandhidham, with immense patriotic spirit, enthusiasm and togetherness. The programme commenced with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, followed by the National Anthem and a patriotic address. The children of M. R. Shah Lions Play School added a special charm to the celebration by presenting beautiful patriotic performances, expressing their love and respect for the nation. The celebration was followed by General Body Meeting 2 As a gesture of togetherness, refreshments were served to all members and the children of M. R. Shah Lions Play School, making the occasion warm and joyful for everyone. A special highlight was the warm welcome and felicitation of the doctors and Yoga Guru who have come forward to voluntarily dedicate their time, knowledge and expertise towards the upcoming Permanent Service Project, through which valuable services will be provided to the community throughout the year. We express our heartfelt gratitude to the teachers and staff of M. R. Shah Lions Play School for their valuable support, coordination and efforts in preparing the children and making their patriotic performances a memorable part of the celebration. We sincerely thank all our members for their overwhelming response, enthusiastic participation and excellent attendance. The remarkable zeal of patriotism displayed by everyone truly made the celebration memorable. Our special appreciation goes to the doctors, Yoga Guru, teachers, staff, children and every member who contributed towards making this celebration meaningful and successful.
