Activity Report – Environmental Project Tree Sapling Distribution Drive Lions Club Rajkot Midtown | District 3232-J Date: 27 July 2026 Venue: Navagam (Bamanbore) As part of its commitment towards environmental conservation and sustainable development, Lions Club Rajkot Midtown successfully organized a Tree Sapling Distribution Drive at Navagam (Bamanbore) in collaboration with Waterman Research Foundation Trust. A total of 1,500 fruit tree saplings were distributed among villagers. The saplings included: * 🌳 Ravna * 🌳 Jamfal (Guava) * 🌳 Dadam (Pomegranate) * 🌳 Sitafal (Custard Apple) The club intentionally selected fruit-bearing trees because people are naturally more motivated to nurture and protect trees that provide fruits. These trees not only benefit families with nutritious produce in the future but also support biodiversity by providing food and shelter for birds and other wildlife, thereby contributing to a greener and healthier ecosystem.
