Hepatitis Awareness Campaign

Under the National Viral Hepatitis Control Program announced by the Government of India, from 21/7/2026 to 28/7/2026, as part of the celebration of “World Hepatitis Day”, an awareness campaign on Hepatitis was jointly organized by Lions Club of Jamnagar East and ITRA on Tuesday, 28/07/2026 at P. M. Mehta Auditorium of Ayurvedic University. In this awareness program, detailed information about how hepatitis infection spreads and how to prevent it was given by Dr. Amiben Trivedi to about 80 members of the nursing staff of ITRA. President Shri Lion Rameshbhai Patel, PMJF 1st VDG Lion Niravbhai Vadodaria, Lion Govindbhai Bhatu, Lion Amarjitsingh Ahluwalia, Lion Roshan Shah and Lion Leenaben Shah were present in this awareness campaign. At the end of the program, Dr. Tanuja Madam Director of ITRA, Dr. Nandani Desai Dean of M.P. Shah Government Medical College, Dr. Amiben Trivedi, Dr. Palakben Ganatra, Dr. Mandeep Gohel, Dr. Gori, Dr. Vinay Popat as well as Home Guards Commandant Shri Girish Kumar and Principal of Nursing College P.V. Ajudia Saheb were honored. ITRA congratulated the office bearers of Lions Club of Jamnagar East for organizing this awareness program in a very beautiful way. Note: Dr. Tanuja Madam (Director of ITRA) said from the forum that Lions Club of Jamnagar East is planning to act as a bridge for ITRA and MP Shah Medical College to work together.
